This Cancellation Policy governs all reservations made with Soul Fly Lodge ("Company") and forms part of the binding agreement between the booking guest ("Client") and the Company. By submitting a deposit, the Client acknowledges and agrees to the terms below.

1. Booking & Deposits

To reserve a service date at Soul Fly Lodge, a deposit equal to fifty percent (50%) of the total package cost is required within ten (10) days of the initial booking confirmation. The remaining balance is due no later than sixty (60) days prior to arrival at Soul Fly Lodge.

This deposit constitutes consideration for the Company removing the date(s) from our availability calendar and refusing other potential business during the reserved window. Room and boat reservations cannot be held or guaranteed without a deposit on file.

All reservations may be paid via Visa, Mastercard, American Express, check, ACH through the Soul Fly Portal, or wire transfer (contact us for wire details).

2. Cancellation by Client

Cancellations 90 days or more prior to the start of the trip: A 10% penalty would be incurred. The remaining 90% can be refunded or applied to a future trip booked within one year of the original trip date.

Cancellations 61–90 days prior to the start of the trip: A 50% penalty would be incurred. The remaining 50% can be refunded or applied to a future trip booked within one year of the original trip date.

Cancellations 60 days or fewer prior to the start of the trip: No refund or credit will be given.

No-Show Policy: Failure to appear at the designated meeting location at the scheduled time ("No-Show") will result in the Client being charged the full remaining balance of the service fee. By booking, the Client expressly authorizes such charge.

3. Date Changes

Date changes can be made 61 or more days prior to arrival at Soul Fly Lodge, subject to availability. Date changes cannot be made to reservations 60 days or fewer prior to the arrival date. Soul Fly Lodge reserves the right to charge a handling fee of $100 per person for any changes to the reservation.

4. Cancellation by Company (Force Majeure)

The Company reserves the right to cancel or alter any itinerary due to weather, unsafe conditions, mechanical failure, public health emergencies, governmental restrictions, civil disturbances, or other acts of God (collectively, "Force Majeure").

Weather Decisions: The decision to cancel or modify a fishing day or trip due to weather, sea conditions, or other safety-related concerns is at the sole discretion of the Soul Fly Lodge guides, captains, and management.

Remedy: In the event of a Company-initiated cancellation due to Force Majeure, the Client's sole remedy shall be a refund of the deposit and any pre-paid amounts, or a credit toward a future booking, at the Company's discretion. The Company is not liable for any incidental expenses incurred by the Client, including but not limited to airfare, charter flights, lodging outside Soul Fly Lodge, travel insurance premiums, or third-party fees.

5. Trip Insurance Strongly Recommended

We highly recommend that all guests purchase trip and travel "Cancel for Any Reason" insurance, which must be specifically selected at the time of policy purchase. Medical extraction and "Cancel for Any Reason" travel insurance can be provided by Global Rescue (https://partner.globalrescue.com/soulflylodge/index.html).

Please note: With Global Rescue, in order to obtain "Cancel for Any Reason" coverage, the policy must be purchased within twenty (20) days of the initial trip deposit. If additional trip costs are added along the way, those costs must be insured within twenty (20) days of being added. All non-refundable trip costs must be insured to qualify for full coverage. Travel insurance is the Client's responsibility, and Soul Fly Lodge is not liable for any failure to obtain adequate coverage. This coverage is not offered to New York State residents.

6. Acknowledgment

By submitting a deposit and confirming a reservation with Soul Fly Lodge, the Client confirms that they have read, understood, and agreed to this Cancellation Policy in full.
